The requirement is primarily for spares to be supplied for a minimum period of 2 years with options to extend for up to 3 further years from the following original equipment manufacturers: 1. Selection to receive a tender will be based on an assessment of the degree of compliance, sourcing arrangements, proven performance and quality assurance as provided in the EofI (see below). As previously stated the MOD aspiration is to combine all products under one contract and will give preference in its selection to those companies that can supply all the product range. It is envisaged that a maximum of 6 tenderers will be invited to tender. This notice is issued subject to the restricted procedure under EU Public Contract Regulations 2006. In the EofI the following information shall be provided: 1. A brief Company background in the manufacture and/or supply of related product range. Names of principal sub contractors and details of their experience in manufacturing these or similar equipment if appropriate; 4. Information to demonstrate the product range applicability to the requirement, stating whether you are able to meet the total or part advertised requirement, including any relevant commercial literature. Failure to provide the required information, make a satisfactory response to any question, or supply documentation referred to in responses, within the required timescale, may mean that a potential provider is not invited to participate further. In the event that none of the responses are deemed satisfactory, the ECI team reserves the right to terminate the procurement and where appropriate re-advertise the procurement. Potential providers must be explicit and comprehensive in their responses to the advert as it is not intended to issue a PQQ. Consequently this will be the single source of information on which responses will be assessed. Potential providers are advised neither to make any assumptions about their past or current supplier relationships with the ECI team nor assume that prior business relationships will be taken into account in the evaluation procedure. The ECI team expressly reserves the right to require a potential provider to provide additional information supplementing or clarifying any of the information provided in response to the EofI. The ECI team may seek independent financial and market advice to validate information declared or to assist evaluation. The ECI team reserves the right to exclude potential providers from the competition based on this advice. CPV: 98341000. ...
