These adjustments are drivenby market opportunities, changes in customer behaviour and experience with existing solutions. Renal information technology system. Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (the "Trust") is one of the country's largest and busiest acute teaching trusts. The Trust's Renal and Transplant Unit is a major regional centre for the provision of renal therapy healthcare services. The main unit at Nottingham City Hospital campus is a purpose built facility with transplant, high-dependency, general ward and outpatient services. To supplement the facilities at Nottingham City Hospital the Trust provides additional routine haemodialysis services from satellite facilities at Queen's Medical Centre (QMC) in Nottingham, King's Mill Hospital in Mansfield and at Ilkeston Community Hospital. The Trust also supports peritoneal and haemodialysis treatments in the local community. The Children's Renal Unit for the Trust is based at QMC and is a regional centre for children and young people with kidney problems. As one of only 12 children's renal units in the country, the unit covers the whole of the East Midlands and East Anglia. The Trust invites expressions of interest for the following: The Trust seeks a single commercial provider to provide a replacement renal IT system. The high-level, outline requirements of the solution are as follows: 1. To modernise and improve both the Renal and Transplant Unit's and the Children's Renal Unit's computing capability; 2. To better monitor patient and clinical outcomes and efficiency measures so that we can confidently pursue our aim to provide excellence in care; 3. To minimise manual entry of data 4.
