Supply and In Service Support of SkyMap II GPS System for the Hawk T Mk1 Aircraft The United Kingdom Military Flight Training System (UKMFTS) Project Team of the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) proposes to continue the provision of supply and in service support of the SkyMap II GPS System for the Hawk T Mk1 Aircraft from Honeywell UK Limited (Skyforce Division). The proposed contract will follow on from the existing contract no TRGACC/1021 which through Honeywell UK Limited (Skyforce Division) provides the current service, and will be for a period of three years. The proposed contract will include partial replacement, maintenance and support of existing units as well as the re-provisioning of spares and it is considered that this contract can be placed using the negotiated procedure without prior publication pursuant to Article 28(3)(a) of Directive 2009/81/EC (Regulation 14(1)(b)(ii) of the UK Public Contracts Regulations 2006). Honeywell UK Limited (Skyforce Division) is the Design Authority and Original Equipment Manufacturer for the SkyMap II GPS System. A change in supplier or GPS system will introduce material and different technical characteristics which will result in incompatibility difficulties in operating and maintaining the equipment together with a disproportionate impact on costs and the logistics to ensure maintenance and operations. Private Sector Leasing Scheme. Carmarthenshire County Council is in the process of going out to Tender for the Private Sector Leasing Scheme. The purpose of this Tender exercise is to identify a suitable service provider. The service will provide 50 self contained, furnished and unfurnished, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom properties for people who have applied to the Council for assistance under the homelessness legislation and who, under that legislation, appear to have a priority need for housing. The properties will be dispersed throughout the County to ensure adequate supply for the 3 main area offices, Carmarthen, Llanelli and the Amman and Gwendraeth. Each property will be inspected by Carmarthenshire County Council's Environmental Health Officers and will be subject to the Council's accreditation process. The service provider will identify and lease suitable properties from the private sector or social landlords, will ensure that where required they are furnished and equipped for immediate occupation. The BBC is awarding together two 5 year contracts, one for the provision of an election results and analysis service and the other for live on-air rendered graphics production and control. News Software Solutions (NSS) will be awarded a contract for the provision of a highly bespoke services package which gathers, distributes and enables live real-time broadcast of electoral results for all UK elections during this period, including Scottish Parliament, Welsh and Northern Ireland Assembly and the European Parliament Elections. This will form part of, and will enable the production of, live on-air programme content across all BBC outlets, i.e. network TV and radio, nations and english regions TV and radio and online services. The contract will also include the provision of multiple-centre results inputting, results client, presenter/producer results clients, stringer management, scenario generation for programme rehearsals, psephologists results analysis/electoral prediction and historical results data distribution and archive for use as programme material or to form part of programme material. Idonix will be awarded a contract for the provision of live rendered graphics for both static and real-time electoral results for all UK elections including Scottish Parliament, Welsh and Northern Ireland Assemblies, plus European Parliament and US elections for broadcast on the BBC Network TV programmes. The contract will also include a highly bespoke graphics playout system to enable automatic and manual control of all on-air election graphics, including lower third, fullform, touch screen and virtual reality graphics.
