11714 Oslo Prison, activity building, H006 builder's representative The assignment involves builder's representative for the works included in the project. The construction project will be executed as an engineering, procurement and construction contract. Estimated quantity of the builder's representative's contract is average 30 hours per week until the building is handed over, as well as some follow up during the complaint period. It is assumed that the requested builder's representative shall be located on the construction site 4-5 days per week, but it is not expected that the representative spends the whole work day at the construction site. Oslo Prison is located in Åkebergveien in Oslo and is Norway's largest prison with approx. 400 prison places. The prison is divided in 2 wards - ward A (the old Bots Prison) and ward B (former Oslo County jail/Bayern). Oslo Prison ward A is listed and ward B is worthy of preservation. This involves special requirements for all works executed on the prison's buildings or site. Statsbygg, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, has been assigned by the Ministry of Justice and the Police to construct a new activity building at Oslo Prison. This project compounds of several lots and is published as an engineering, procurement and construction contract. A revised preliminary project has been prepared and the engineering design group shall be transferred to the property developer. The project includes the following lots: 1. Restoration of replacement areas (the lighthouse and the C wing's ground floor); 2. Alteration of cables and pipes in the ground at Haugenstua; 3. Demolition of Haugenstua and pump housing; 4. Construction of a new activity building; 5. Demolition of footbridge from block D and construction of new footbridge from block D and block A; 6. Construction of sole foundation between block D and the Kistemuren wall (option). All these activities shall mainly be carried out consecutively and not parallel. At present the construction site contains a building (Haugenstua) which shall be demolished. This building accommodates the technical employees at Oslo Prison as well as a shop and various stores. These functions will get replacement areas in wing C and the lighthouse. Prior to relocation, the surfaces in these areas shall be redecorated. A new activity building shall be constructed with a basal area of approx. 1 830 m². Approx. half of the basal area is a multiuser hall with double floor height.
