Literature searches and reviews related to the prevalence of food allergy in Europe. The objectives of the contract resulting from the present procurement procedure is the collection, collation and analysis of published and unpublished data related to: 1. the prevalence of food allergy (IgE mediated and non-IgE mediated) in different regions of the world (e.g. North America, Australia, Canada and New Zealand) and primarily in individual European countries for different age groups in relation to each of the following food allergens: milk/dairy, eggs, cereals, peanuts, nuts, celery, crustaceans, fish, molluscs, soy, lupin, mustard and sesame; 2. the natural history of food allergy to each allergen listed above (changes in prevalence and/or severity with age) and on changes in prevalence trends over time at a population level, whenever available; 3. the most prevalent (emerging) food allergies in different European countries (i.e. food allergens other than those listed above) and changes in sensitisation patterns where known or emerging; 4. the effects of food processing on the allergenicity of foods in relation to each of the following food allergens: milk/dairy, eggs, cereals, peanuts, nuts, celery, crustaceans, fish, molluscs, soy, lupin, mustard and sesame, and on the new analytical methods available to analyse/detect these food allergens in processed foods. To achieve these objectives the contractor should carry out comprehensive literature searches to identify and retrieve all related information/data published in peer-reviewed journals and should make reasonable efforts to identify and retrieve unpublished data. The data retrieved should be further analysed following well-accepted methodologies and criteria in order to identify relevant scientific data. The information should be transferred in a concise way to EFSA including the full list of references used for each single food allergen. SME internationalisation through clusters. The purpose of this action is to support the preparation and organisation of 5 events in 2012–2013 offering matchmaking opportunities for European cluster organisations and their member SMEs, with international partners outside Europe. This action shall build upon and contribute to implement the collaboration agreements signed by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) established under the European cluster excellence initiative. Memoranda of understanding (MoU) have been signed by the ECCP with partners in Brazil, India and Japan and more of such collaboration agreements may be envisaged with south Mediterranean countries, possibly Egypt and Tunisia, as well as with South Korea. The events shall be organised in the country of the international partners that signed the MoUs. This action shall prepare the ground for practical cluster cooperation across borders and make a more strategic use of transnational cluster cooperation on markets outside Europe in areas of strategic interest such as renewable energy and clean-tech, creative industries and tourism. This contract covers provision of services consisting of desk research, face to face interviews and data analysis as part of a qualitative post-test of the European survey of enterprises on new and emerging risks (Esener) in order to: (1) improve understanding of the Esener results by producing secondary information that helps clarify what respondents actually meant by their answers; (2) provide information about how respondents' answers are shaped by the context in which they operate (e.g. national, economic, job-related); (3) give some indication of 'OSH performance' in the selected establishments and the feasibility of including more 'outcome measures' in a future survey; (4) serve as a quality control measure, assessing the extent to which the questionnaires measured what they were designed to measure; (5) assist in the development of new questionnaires through the critical assessment of existing questions and identification of additional items appropriate for investigation through a CATI survey. The overall objective of the procurement project is to permit Cambridge City Council to facilitate and secure the development of sites owned by the Council for affordable housing schemes in the city of Cambridge which may or may not be subsidised by the development of a proportion of market housing in a manner which is both efficient of resources, and which fosters strong and productive partnership working between the Council and its selected construction and development partners. For the procurement project and the resultant framework arrangements, the requirement will comprise three 'lots', as outlined here and described in more detail in Annex B. Note that although the schemes procured under these arrangements will be predominantly residential housing, individual schemes may include the construction and / or provision of other community facilities where these are integral to the scheme.
