Disposal of general waste. Flintshire County Council are to tender for the disposal of its waste stream, which is approximately 40 000 tonnes per annum and comprises of mainly municipal solid waste with a small proportion of commercial or industrial waste arising from within Flintshire. The primary method of disposal is assumed to be landfill but Flintshire County Council retain the right to send approximately 10 % for treatment or recovery.
