Leicester city open mind (IAPT) service. Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Commissioning Support Service (LLRCSS) (formed from NHS Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland PCT Cluster), on behalf of Leicester City CCG is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced providers for the provision of an open mind improving access to psychological therapies (IAPT) service. The open mind service will be a community based service, building firmly on the improving access to psychological therapies (IAPT) programme (see http://www.iapt.nhs.uk/) offering a range of evidence based psychological interventions including NICE approved / recommended psychological therapies in line with relevant clinical guidance; associated with improved service user outcomes and recovery rates. The local service model will cover: — Depression, — Generalised anxiety disorder, — Mixed depression and anxiety, — Panic disorder, — Obsessive-compulsive disorder, — Phobias (including social anxiety disorder (social phobia)), — Post-traumatic stress disorder, — Health anxiety (Hypochondriasis). CEDR transnational road research programme: call 2012. This call for proposals entitled CEDR transnational road research programme call 2012 is launched by the National Roads Authority (NRA) of Ireland behalf of the Conference of European Directors of Roads (CEDR). The content of this call for proposals was developed by CEDR members to fulfil the common interests of various European road administrations. The participating countries are Belgium (Flanders), Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and UK. The NRA will take on the role of programme manager: this will include organising the call for proposals, programme coordination, financial governance and general project management. As in previous collaborative research programmes, the participating members will establish a programme executive board (PEB) made up of experts in the topics to be covered: the PEB will act as a steering committee for the programme. The call for proposals involves four separate research programmes covering the following topics: — Recycling: road construction in a post-fossil fuel society, — Noise: integrating strategic noise management into the operation and maintenance of national road networks, — Safety: safety of road workers and interaction with road users: use of vehicle restraint systems, — Road owners adapting to climate change.
