Modernisation of the audiovisual control rooms in the Brussels and Strasbourg hemicycles. As part of its audiovisual assignments, the European Parliament's Directorate-General for Communication needs to be able to provide archiving for parliamentary debates and support for television channels. The depreciation and cost-effective period for some of the technical resources used has elapsed. The aim is therefore to replace some of the existing equipment and integrate the new equipment in the existing infrastructure. At each site in Brussels and Strasbourg, the European Parliament has 3 production control rooms, namely: (a) hemicycle control room; (b) general control room; (c) TV studio control room. These contracts concern the hemicycle control rooms in Brussels and Strasbourg which are to be replaced.
