UK-East Kilbride: evaluation consultancy services
Millennium Village Evaluation in Northern Ghana. The UK will provide funding for an independent ten-year evaluation of a new Millennium Village about to be established in northern Ghana. The Department for International Development (DFID) is seeking to engage a Service Provider (SP) to conduct the evaluation. The evaluation project will cover the costs of expanding the Millennium Village Project's own monitoring and evaluation surveys, conducting additional baselines and surveys in comparison sites, and applying qualitative evaluation techniques. It will cover the costs of quality assuring and analysing the data, producing reports, and widely disseminating the results of the evaluation. The Millennium Village Project will directly implement its integrated set of interventions for 5 years, and the evaluation will continue for a further 5 years. The aim is to provide robust evidence on the cost effectiveness and sustainability of the impacts achieved by the Millennium Villages approach. The initial contract will be let for a period of up to 5 years in the first instance, with a possible extension of upto 5 years, and will include break points. Progression from one period to the next will be subject to the satisfactory performance of the Service Provider, the continuing needs for the requirement, and agreement over work plans and budgets for the following period. It is anticipated the evaluation will be carried out by researchers with a recognised international reputation and practical experience of rigorous impact evaluation. The diverse nature of this evaluation makes it suitable for consortia proposals. CPV: 79419000. ...

We have an ambitious vision to join the top 50 universities in the world by 2015 our shared values are an integral part of our strategy and guide our decisions and how we work together. Contract description. The purpose of this framework is to provide a range of suppliers that the University can use for graphic design, web design and development, and video production in order to: Enhance the quality and impact of all our marketing and communications materials and channels. Achieve more coherence and consistency across all our work relevant to this contract. Offer a range of services at competitive prices to achieve value for money. Create guardians of the University brand, who will work closely with our internal marketing and communications teams to implement the university guidelines around identity management, web design and development, and video production. The Universitys marketing team has responsibility for raising the quality and impact of all our marketing and communications materials and channels, their feedback and requirements provide the context for this exercise. The University has a design requirement for traditional print materials within a range of budgets eg posters, leaflets, information packs, course brochures and banners and, to a much lesser extent, high profile campaign and branding projects. The University reserves the right to exclude branding projects from the scope of this contract. It is anticipated, however, that the emphasis may move towards an increase in electronic distribution and more web and digital media work. Suppliers should be aware of the following projects, currently underway or planned: The University is currently developing its value proposition and key messages, which will be relevant for student recruitment materials (completed late 2011). The identity management guidelines are currently being updated and will continue to be refined, although no major changes are anticipated (completed Jan 2011). Within the next three years we are expecting to roll out a standard content management system (CMS) across the University. You must therefore be willing to adopt our standard CMS for all our web-based projects, by building the appropriate in-house capacity and undertaking training as required. The existing guidelines for web design and development will continue to evolve and will need to be updated to reflect these changes. CPV: 79822500, 72413000, 92112000. ...
