Framework agreement for the supply installation, lease, rental, hire and purchase of modular volumetric buildings. Hampshire County Council and Surrey County Council are seeking jointly to establish a framework agreement for building works (including projects based upon design and build) for Hampshire, Surrey and surrounding local areas. Hampshire County Council and Surrey County Council are advertising and procuring this framework agreement jointly. Both Authorities will manage jointly the preparation of the tender documents, the implementation of selection and award procedures and the implementation of post award procedures relating to the establishment of the framework agreement. Both Authorities will enter into the Framework Agreements with the successful bidders and will be responsible for discharging their obligations under the framework (this does not extend to underlying contracts) on a collective basis. By working in collaboration,capacity will be created by the Parties to deliver major programmes of work through the proposed framework. The aims are to reduce waste and streamline processes through the whole life of projects; identify and effectively manage risk and to provide value for money. The goals to achieving these aims are: a) Improved processes for design development, procurements and construction b) Better use of resources to ensure that competencies are properly deployed and wasteful activities are driven out c) Added value to the whole life of a project by engaging all parties in joint ownership and collaboration seeking out opportunities in design, procurement and construction. d) Efficiency gains throughout the supply chain by standardisation, aggregation, leverage, discounts for economy of scale and to avoid bespoke procurement. e) Reviews of workload and contractor capacity, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendation for efficient delivery of projects. f) Provision of key performance measurement data in support of KPI's g) Improved design practices in terms of building systems and common approaches across programmes. h) Effective Improvement Work Groups to drive best practice e.g. waste minimisation, health and safety and sustainability. i) Shared learning across the proposed Framework A framework agreement for four years to provide modular temporary buildings at education and other local authority sites. Requirement includes supply, delivery erection and removal as needs demand. The framework will be available for use by Hampshire County Council, Surrey County Council, Reading Borough Council, West Sussex County Council, Dorset County Council, Buckinghamshire County County Council, Hampshire Fire and Rescue Services, Foundation, Voluntary Controlled and Voluntary Aided Schools and Further Education Colleges within Hampshire. UK-Liverpool: installation services of equipment for measuring, checking, testing and navigating
Supply, installation, commissioning & maintenance of air monitoring equipment (CO and NOx) for mersey tunnels. Merseytravel operates the two road tunnels on Merseyside. Many of the operations are controlled through a SCADA control system including the monitoring of CO and Visibility levels which provides an indication of air quality in this area. Merseytravel are looking to replace the current air monitoring equipment with equipment which is also capable of monitoring NOx. The equipment would need to provide an input to the SCADA system which can be monitored by Merseytravel staff and is used to control ventilation in the tunnels. There are currently six monitoring units in the Kingsway tunnel and eight monitoring units in the Queensway tunnel. Merseytravel are looking for an organisation to supply install and commission the replacement equipment and provide a suitable interface for the current SCADA system. This organisation should also provide training for Merseytravel maintenance staff. In the first year the system will be supported by the supplier under warranty. The supply, installation & maintenance of multi-functional devices, photocopiers & desk top printers. Wirral Council is seeking to appoint one single provider for the range of multi functional devices, photocopiers and desk top printers that will be situated at various public sector organisation establishments. This is to include the supply, delivery, installation and maintenance of digital monochrome and digital colour photocopying equipment, printers and ancillary equipment. All photocopiers and printers to be supplied under this contract must be brand new and capable of copying/printing on varying weights and types of plain paper, including all grades of 100 % recycled paper, card, labels and transparencies. Multi function devices must also have the capability to be configured to scan, fax and function as networked printers. A variety of MFD's will be selected dependent on the needs of the relevant site. These devices will be grouped into 3 categories - low volume, medium volume and high volume. Desk top printers will be required at both A4 and A3 size formats. The Council would expect that an electronic version of the catalogue of devices would be made available incorporating the range of devices available. Wirral Council are currently seeking to rationalise the desk top printer fleet, replacing with MFDs in line with the Council's existing print strategy. Recommendations on the most cost effective and labour efficient methods to achieve this aim would be sought from the successful company at nil or limited costs to the Authority. A strategy document will be required for consideration with proposals how this can be implemented across the Authority. Local Authorities are introducing consolidated invoicing and expect the successful Company to be able to offer this service.
