UK-Manchester: construction work for multi-dwelling buildings and individual houses
Procure Plus new build framework. yes Procure Plus (PP) is a consortium of registered (housing) providers with stock in the north west of England and has formed an alliance with Lancashire Housing Partnership (LHP), Cumbria Housing Partners (CHP), Procure Plus Associates (PPAL), Efficiency North (Yorkshire and Humberside) (EN) and North East Procurement (NEP) to form a unique northern alliance of registered (housing) provider consortia. This alliance is known as Re:allies. Further additional housing consortia may join the Re:allies alliance from time to time. For more information about the Re:allies alliance and the housing consortia it comprises please see section VI.2 of this notice and also visit www.re-allies.com. PP (acting as authorised agent on behalf of its contracting authority members) is procuring a framework agreement, for the provision of new build and development works. The development projects will predominantly be new build programmes covering, but not limited to, residential dwellings, community centres, retirement villages and supported housing. However, there may be an element of refurbishment work to existing buildings but only where this is part of a wider development scheme. A variety of construction methods may be required including but not limited to traditional, timber framed and other modern methods of construction. PP will explore various approaches to ensure that the resulting framework offers value for money whilst delivering the code for sustainable homes. The framework agreement will be put in place for a maximum period of 4 years from approximately May 2012. The following contracting authorities will be entitled to call off under the framework agreement as and when required: 1. PPs members (both current and future); 2. LHPs members (both current and future); 3. CHPs members (both current and future); 4. PPALs members (both current and future); 5. The current and future members or any other member of the Re:allies alliance from time to time; 6. Any partner or customer of PP, LHP, CHP, PPAL, or other Re:allies member from time to time which may include any social housing provider in the UK. Social housing provider for this purpose means any provider of social housing and includes registered (housing) providers, local authorities, local government ALMOs and unitary authorities. A list of these can be found at the following website: www.tenantservicesauthority.org. The contracting authorities listed or referred to above have requirements predominantly within the north west of England including Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside, Staffordshire, Shropshire and Cumbria, however those with stock in other areas of the UK may utilise this framework. It is envisaged that the framework agreement will initially be entered into by PP and the successful contractors, however the framework agreement may be novated from PP to Re:allies once Re:allies has been incorporated. This will not affect the scope of the framework agreement or the works that it covers. As and when one of the contracting authorities listed or referred to in paragraphs 1 to 6 wishes to call off under the framework agreement it will enter into a separate call off contract with the relevant contractor. Applicants should note that, under the framework agreement, none of the contracting authorities that are entitled to use the framework agreement shall be under any obligation to do so. It is anticipated that PP shall appoint multiple contractors to the framework agreement. To register your interest in the project please email us at frameworktender@procure-plus.com.
