PC345: framework agreement for the provision of the supply and installation of solar photovoltaic cells. Staffordshire County Council is committed to achieving a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions from its own operations of 80 % by 2050, from a 1990 baseline. To date, it has made a saving of around 42 %. The Council recognises the need to achieve its share of national renewable energy targets and is looking to work with a range of partners to deliver solar photovoltaic electricity on its built estate and land holding. Staffordshire County Council is looking to appoint a number of suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to enter into a framework agreement for the supply, installation and maintenance of solar PV panels for public buildings including use by schools. Staffordshire County Council may allow this contract to be used by or on behalf of other UK public sector non-profit bodies. These will include local authorities, police, fire & emergency services, district councils, educational establishments, registered charities, universities/colleges and a large number of charitable organisations. There fore, these other bodies may wish to tap into and utilise this contract for mutual benefit.
