The Medical and General Supplies Project team (M&GS) is part of the Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) Organisation and its role is to provide medical equipment and associated support to the UK Armed Forces. The EnFlow IV fluid warming equipment was introduced into service in 2009. M&GS now has a possible urgent requirement for further EnFlow IV fluid warming equipment, accessories and consumables. All equipment supplied shall be CE marked in accordance with Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC and must comply with MoD Airworthiness standards. This is an urgent requirement and all equipment will need to be fully Airworthy compliant and delivered by the end of November 2011. The Contract will be for an initial 1 year period with an option to extend for a further period of 1 year. Financial Ability: The Applicant's financial ability to meet this requirement will be assessed on a risk basis and the Applicant's financial accounts will be evaluated by the Authority.
