UNiCORN. (Unified Communications over Regional Networks). Expressions of interest are sought for commercial partner/s to provide a managed wide-area network, local area networks, IP voice services, and other managed IP services, referred to as UNiCORN (Unified Communications over Regional Networks), for a range of public sector organisations in Surrey, Berkshire and the immediate proximity. The Contracting Authority is acting on behalf of a range of public sector stakeholders as defined in Section VI.3 below. Not all public sector stakeholders named, may commit to place an order for any or all services through the procurement process. The Contracting Authority wishes to receive bids from integrators with a track record in providing integrated network solutions as well as telecommunications providers. Provision of Telecommunications Services for the Networks business of Bord Gáis Éireann.
