It is the intention of the London Transport Museum to contract for the restoration of their Metropolitan Railway Jubilee Stock Carriage, (No 353 built 1892), to a condition which is acceptable for passenger operation on preserved heritage railways, and for special passenger service on the London Underground system. The contract includes adapting a PMV-type underframe to accommodate the grounded carriage body!
