The M8 M73 M74 motorway improvements. The project consists of the design, construction and finance of a package of three discrete construction schemes (M8 Baillieston to Newhouse, the M74 Junction 5, Raith and the M8/M73/M74 network improvements) (the new works) and the finance, operation and maintenance of the motorway network provided by the new works, associated structures and related elements and part of the existing motorway network (the O&M works) for a period of 30 years after completion of the new works. Solar powered waste compacting receptacles with wireless monitoring system. Nottingham City Council recognises that is has an environmental responsibility and is committed to improving its environmental impacts through coordinated environmental management. The Council has identified the need to provide a cleaner environment through more energy efficient systems and renewable technology. This will fit with one of the City Councils key manifesto objectives of reducing the City's energy bills and carbon footprint. The Council is therefore seeking quotations for the supply, delivery and installation of Solar Powered waste compacting street litter bins, which are to include a wireless monitoring system that will notify electronically when the litter bin becomes near to capacity.
