Transforming highways maintenance contract 2011. Transforming highways maintenance contract 2011 within the Borough. This will be a call off contract for the provision of improvements together with routine and planned maintenance. The duration of the resultant contract will be for 4 years with an option to extend for a further 3 years. The Council are looking to consolidate all their current arrangements preferably into a single contract with a single service provider including the transfer of plant, equipment and vehicles. The selection criteria for short listing will include economic and financial assessment, technical ability, equalities, health and safety, and environmental management.
