Restoration to operational service of 14 "tourist" shuttle railway wagons destined for the transportation of road vehicules. Eurotunnel seeks to restore to normal operational service 14 Tourist shuttle railway wagons which have been removed from service and immobilised on the ET Coquelles Site since 2005. At the time of the « cocooning » of these wagons, partial dismantling operations have taken place with the removal of different equipment and components for use as spare parts or put into storage. The operation consists in the restoration to operational commercial service of the concerned wagons;-. — 1 Single Deck Loader (SDL) Wagon + 6 Single deck carrier (SDC) wagons, — 1 Double Deck Loader (DDL) wagon + 6 Double Deck Carrier (DDC) wagons. Their restoration to full operational Commercial Service is foreseen for May 2012. The majority of the equipment, cabling, conduits, underfloor piping, has been dismantled, disassembled, and either stored or used as spare part replacement on operational wagons. In the wagon interiors, numerous equipment and components have been dismounted and stored or used as spare part replacement on operational wagons. B-Melle: communications infrastructure
Smart Meters - Communication module - EAN10AE176. By 2020 Europe is requiring 20 % less greenhouse gasses, 20 % less energy consumption and 20 % renewable energy. In the context of this regulation Eandis has launched the smart meter program. The program will be implemented in 3 different phases: a first field test of 4 000 meters in Leest and Hombeek (already running), a pilot phase involving 40 000 meters (start 2012) and the rollout of all 4 000 000 gas and electricity meters on the territory of the distribution system operators starting in 2014. During the pilot phase, an additional 8 000 meters will be installed for Infrax too. Within this pilot phase, Eandis has the intention to purchase several devices which match in the further optimisation for a global solution of the smart metering concept. This file consists of the purchase of communication modules, including the research and development, conceptbuilding, production according to dedicated specifications, delivery, training and service. This includes both the hard- and the firmware. The communication module allows to exchange information – under reliable conditions – between the smart meter and the central meter data managementsystem. The communication module must have the option to be connected to several types of meters (electricity, gas, perhaps also water and warmth/cold-), modems, GPRS, homedisplays, ... and also support PLC communication. During the pilot phase Eandis will cooperate with Infrax to develop a general solution. The aim is to purchase a common or strong equivalent communication module. But there is a chance that we end up with different communication modules for Eandis and Infrax because of other functionalities. This will clearly be described in the technical specifications. The contract will be effective for a period of 3 years, with an extension of 1 additional year. The contract probably starts from 1.7.2011 onwards. B-Brussels: surveying services
Execution of various topographical tasks involving the Fluxys'pipeline network. Fluxys constructs, manages and operates an infrastructure for high-pressure gas transmission by pipeline in Belgium. In 2010, this network was 4 000 km long. The technical and administrative data for this network are given in a database which is used by various departments in the company. This database - which is spatial- plays a key role in the operation of the pipeline network. This means that a lot of importance is attached tothe accuracy of the data. The three-dimensional aspect of the database is mainly the result of topographical surveys. Fluxys SA mainly uses external surveyors to conduct these surveys. The tasks involving new and/or existing Fluxys pipelines and substations may include: a) terrestrial site survey and mapping of new and/or changed topography; b) terrestrial site survey and mapping of new and/or changed topography vis-à-vis the existing topography; c) terrestrial site survey and mapping of a new site profile; d) terrestrial pipeline survey + accessories and mapping of a new pipeline profile; e) digital output - supplying files in all of the following formats: Microsoft Excel format, Microstation DGN formatand the Fluxys exchange format XSUF; f) the use of other surveying techniques alongside topographical surveying, e.g. active radio detection andground tracing; g) tasks involving the preparation for site levelling.
