UK-Scunthorpe: school catering services
Provision of Catering Services. The successful tenderer will be required to provide catering services at John Leggott College. The contract covers the scope for the provision of all catering and vending services within the College, which also includes all hospitality and free issue requirements. The duration of the contract being offered is three years commencing on 1.8.2012 and concluding on 31.7.2015 and will be on a guaranteed performance basis. John Leggott College currently operate an in-house catering service. The contract offered is a three year contract, however this may be extended to allow the successful contractor a longer period of time to depreciate any inward capital investment that is made into the facilities. We would wish for the successful contractor to be able to offer a 'branded' coffee provision from the start of the contract and also to be able to bring both innovation and expertise to the catering provision. Inward capital investment will be required from the successful contractor to improve the current facilities as part of the tender submission. The operation currently operates at profit and it is expected that this will be the case moving into this contract term.
