Provision of framework agreement for building contractors. The University has published its strategy (estates development framework 2) to transform its estate through an investment of 350M between 2009 and 2019. The EDF 2 plan includes several major and minor capital projects, and backlog maintenance works. In addition the University spends 2.0m (gross) per annum on Planned Maintenance projects which maintain the fabric and infrastructure of the University's buildings. Funding will come from a number of sources including income from public and private organisations, University's own funds and loan facilities secured from the European Investment Bank in 2011.
