Provision of Linen Services. The contracting authority is seeking a supplier for the Provision of its Linen Services. The Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was established on 1st December 2007. The Trust serves a population of approximately 330 000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre and the 12 million holidaymakers who visit the area every year. Summary of Potential Service Requirements: The Service Provider will ensure that the following Linen Services are provided to the Trust by the most cost effective means at the required volumes and quality standards. Pensions payroll administration system. Buckinghamshire County Council provides a pensions and payroll administration service in respect of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), and on behalf of Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Fire Authority, in respect of the Fire Pension Schemes (FPS known as the "old fire pension scheme" and NFPS New Fire Pension Scheme), as well as a payroll administration of the Teacher's Compensation Scheme.The current pensions and payroll administration contract with an external provider is due to expire in Spring 2011. Therefore, Buckinghamshire County Council is re-tendering the contract. It is envisaged that the re-tendering process will identify any further opportunities that may be available in the market place. The Council is looking for an experienced provider of a fully integrated pensions and payroll administration system to provide the service. The current numbers of members records are in the region of: LGPS: 73,400 records; FPS: 860 records; and NFPS 230 records, teacher's compensation scheme 1700 records.The numbers of employers in the LGPS is currently 160. The number is increasing as new admission agreements are put in place. Each employer submits information about their members electronically for processing via an interface.
