Measured Term Contract For Borough-wide Cyclical Planned Maintenance To Council-Owned Housing Properties 2012-2015. The London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham is seeking expressions of interest from suitable economic operators who would like to be considered to be invited to tender for a framework contract (3 years in duration) to carry out planned preventative maintenance its housing properties, borough-wide. The works comprise external and communal repairs and redecorations, including works to communal services installations, principally to the Contracting Authority's street-based (non-estate) properties, but also potentially to non-estate blocks of flats and blocks within estates. It is proposed that there will be a single operator contracted to undertake all works let under the framework. It is likely that the contract will be let under the JCT Measured Term Contract (2006) Revision 2 (2009). The award of contract(s) will be made on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender. The total value of works to be let is currently estimated to be approximately 10 000 000 GBP per annum (30 000 000 GBP in total for the three years of the framework). However, no minimum annual or cumulative total works value for the contract is guaranteed. The Framework will include a one-way non-default break clause, enabling the Employer to determine the Framework having given three months notice to the successful operator. Candidates should note that the Contracting Authority reserves the right to make no award of contact if applications and tenders received are not considered as meeting the objects of this procurement exercise.
