1022/5 private sewers and lateral drain maintenance and support - Sub-tier contractors As a result of proposed regulations under the Water Act (2003) it is anticipated that Thames Water will adopt private sewers and lateral drains on the 1.10.2011. This will result in an increase of approximately 60 % (40 000 km) of sewer length to that currently supported by Thames Water. Projected figures suggest this may equate to up to 200 000 additional activities over and above the current sewer blockage clearance and maintenance provision. Thames Water wishes to establish a Qualification System (the "Register") of contractors who wish to be involved in the service provision. This may require development, training and standardisation activities. Successful application to this register will also allow details to be provided to service providers for potential sub-contracting, over-capacity support, business development opportunities or other activities relating to one or more of the lots as advertised in OJEU Notice 2010/S 219-336454, dated 11.11.2010 and new Lot 1 OJEU Notice 2011/S 022-036009, dated 2.2.2011. Geotechnical survey at offshore wind farm location Norther - Belgium. The project encompasses the execution of a preliminary geotechnical survey to assess the soil conditions within the wind farm area. The geotechnical information shall be used as input for the preliminary foundation designs and for assessment of the foundation type. The geotechnical survey shall be within the Norther Concession (zone 1 of the Belgian wind farm concession areas): — located approximately 20 km off the coast of Zeebrugge, — located in water depths of up to 30 m LAT. The geotechnical site investigation will consist of approximately 2 - 7 boreholes with combined CPTs and sampling (target depth approximately 45 metres below seabed) and a field report. Optionally 2 7 wheeldrive CPT's (target depth approximately 5 meter below seabed) are required. Onshore lab testing of the borehole samples and engineering on these lab tests will optionally be required if deemed necessary. Delivery of impulse ventilators and shaft fans in tunnel, including installation of shaft fans. Ring 3 between Ulven and Sinsen is presently functioning as main artery and local distribution artery. The road has 2 traffic lanes in each direction and the speed limit is 70 km/h. The section is approx. 2, 5 km long. In 2005 it was registered average annual daily traffic of 75 600, whilst it on weekdays were registered traffic volume up to 87 000 vehicles/24 hours (average professional annual daily traffic). The heavy traffic percentage is approx. 90 %. For Østre Aker Road/National road 163 past Økern the traffic figures in 2005 were 38 900 (average annual daily traffic) and 44 100 (average professional annual daily traffic). Ring 3 (the Large Ring road) shall be constructed as a 3/6 lanes Main road H2 between Sinsen (profile 360) and Ulven (profile 2290) with open air facility, rock tunnel, concrete tunnels and exit and entrance ramps. Østre Aker road shall be constructed as 2/4 lanes Main road H2 between Haslevangen (profile 0) and the Risløkk road (profile 1230) with open air facility and concrete tunnel (the Økern tunnel). S2011/95 Further development of ICT – Systems for the alerting service VIPS and LMT. The internet service VIPS (Alerting within plant pest infestation), regarding alerting attacks, development and surveillance of important plant pest infestation, is developed by the Norwegian Institute for Agricultural and environmental research and the Norwegian agricultural advisory services. The first version of the service was put into operation in 2001. The basis for alerts regarding risk of harm is climatic data from the Norwegian Institute for Agricultural and environmental research (the Awarding Authority) and weather prognosis from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute, biological data (registration of the development of the local pest infestation), damage thresholds and models for development of pest infestation and host plants. LMT (Agricultural Meteorological Service) is a project arranged by the Awarding Authority. The service has been in operation since the beginning of the nineties. The main purpose of the project has been to obtain climatic data for use in connection pest infestation alerts. During the growing season, the project operates 75 automatic climatic stations. These stations are located in agricultural districts in various parts of Norway. 50 of these stations are year-round operations. The Awarding Authority wishes to enter into a multi-annual agreement.
