An Post construction framework (2011). An Post wishes to establish a framework agreement upto a maximum of 10 contractors capable of delivering multiple projects in parallel to meets its standard build programme of work during the life time of the agreement. The framework agreement shall be put in place for a period of 12 months with an option to extend for another 24 month period (on a year by year basis). The works covered under this framework agreement would fall into 5 categories: A. Refurbishment works; B. Small minor works; C. Extensions to existing occupied premises; D. Fit out of newly acquired premises; E. New builds – Greenfield sites. The framework agreement shall apply to works with an estimated value of over 50 000 EUR**. The framework agreement shall cover all of An Post locations nationally. Framework agreement: An Post is seeking to shortlist upto a maximum of 10 contractors who will then be invited to participate in a framework arrangement as outline above. These contractors may be asked to take part in a competitive tendering process for all or part of the work included under our standard build programme, which may include minor and major building work, mechanical & electrical installations, structural, steelworks etc. During the lifetime of the framework work agreement, work may be bundled according to location, so the selected contractors may be tendering for work at more than one location concurrently. It should be noted that all potential contractors must be prepared to tender for all works under the framework agreement regardless of size / estimated value / location of work during the lifetime of the agreement. **Note: Some major capital / specialised programmes are excluded from the FWA and in these instances, a separate procurement plan shall be put in place by An Post.
