B-Geel: periodical monitoring of the technical installations of the IRMM
Periodical monitoring of the technical installations of the IRMM. The JRC-IRMM has signed a contract with a technical maintenance provider. The contractor shall provide the preventative and corrective maintenance for the installations mentioned in Annex 2 of the tender specifications. These installations are subdivided into the following sections: — Section 1: H.V.A.C., including plumbing, sanitary installations and drainage, — Section 2: electricity, lighting, emergency lighting, emergency generators, lightning protection, earthing, — Section 3: building elements (access, doors, windows, locks, outer walls, external carpentry, wall covering, flooring, ceiling, roof and parking area). These installations are located on the IRMM site. The site has a surface of 38 ha and contains 20 buildings. The overview of the buildings can be found under Annex 1 of the tender specifications. In order to audit the performance of the maintenance, IRMM wishes to have the status of the technical installations periodically monitored by an independent contractor. UK-Newcastle: construction work for multi-dwelling buildings and individual houses
North East Procurement Ltd Contractor Developer. North East Procurement (NEP), have procured a Framework Agreement of Contractor Developers with lots covering both Design and Construct and Construct only. Works shall predominantly be required across the North East of England, North Yorkshire, and the City of York; however works may be required in other areas of the UK. The Framework Agreement has been put in place for a maximum period of 4 years. It is envisaged that the framework will be available for use by NEP members and other partners, and customers, both current and future. This may include any registered social housing provider in the UK. A full list of current NEP members can be found at Section VI.2. The Framework Agreements will be available for access by one or more Local Authorities including Unitary Authorities, Local Government ALMOs, Social Housing Providers and any other category of Social Landlords. Works are primarily required for new build programmes covering, but not limited to, houses, community centres, sheltered schemes etc, however it is envisaged that an element of refurbishment works may also be required to existing buildings. However, this will only be where this is part of the overall development. It is envisaged that the construction methods required may be traditional, timber framed or other methods of construction such as but not limited to, structural insulated panel systems (SIPS). UK-London: cable cars
A cable car for London. Transport for London (TfL) (contracted through its wholy owned subsidiary Docklands Light Railway Limited) with the support of the London Development Agency (LDA) have been developing a proposal to run a cable car across the Thames between North Greenwich and Royal Victoria in east London. The vision is for the cable car to be a new iconic structure for London which provides both a viable public transport option for users and supports regeneration of the surrounding areas.
