The services included in this procurement has the previous 10 years been provided by Norsk Tipping's, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, 50 % owned subsidiary company Buypass AS. This company was established for the purpose of cooperation between the Awarding Authority and the Norwegian Post (now: EDB Ergo-Group AS, which owns the remaining 50 % of the company). The existing ID and payment systems are developed by Buypass in close cooperation with the Awarding Authority. In accordance with the Public Procurement Law, these services will now be subject competitive tendering.
