Servicing and repairs to air conditioning and air handling systems in public buildings. The requirement is for a Certified Company to carry out the servicing and emergency call outs repairs to air conditioning and air handling systems installed in approximately 87 public buildings in various locations throughout Fife. The properties include schools, care homes, group homes, sports centres, offices, museums, libraries, theatres, halls, police stations, radio stations etc. The contract includes the provision of a 24 hour 7 day per day call out with a 1½ hour response time for site attendance. A further requirement of the contract is for a written energy inspection report for the air conditioning systems over 12.5kw by an accredited air conditioning energy assessor as required by the energy performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD). This will give the Council essential information about the energy performance of their air conditioning systems and guidance on how to improve the energy efficiency of the system.
