FsAST Integrated Support Capability. Training simulators. Training Simulators and Ground Training Equipment. The Contractor shall provide in-service support and safe operation of approximately 50 different training systems some of which come in multiple quantities and locations, throughout the United Kingdom for the period from the date of contract to the commencement of the Defence Technical Training Change Programme (DTTCP), expected realisation summer 2016. Support for a small number of the equipments may cease before this date. This In-Service support shall have various levels of support from Basic to Comprehensive. See below for a full list of equipments, locations and an indication of the levels of support required for the groups of equipments. The Contractor shall provide a maintenance service that will undertake all necessary maintenance of design records (unless stated otherwise), design/modification (unless stated otherwise), inspection, maintenance, testing and repair services (unless stated otherwise), obsolescence management (not all equipment), varying call out response times for the equipment listed. It shall maintain an organisation having the necessary facilities and employees, adequate in numbers, quality and training and of appropriate qualifications and experience to undertake efficiently all tasks and services required. The maintenance service shall provide and operate a process for liaising with the relevant Design Authority (where appropriate) for maintenance related information/advice beyond that covered by extant documentation. The minimum level of support required for any of the equipment is Level 1 maintenance. The provision of services shall be described within a Service Provision Plan proposed by the Contractor and agreed by the Authority. The Contractor will be required to keep the equipment available to meet site normal working hours and offer call out response times which will vary across the locations, being more rapid on the major training sites such as DCAE Cosford.
