The Trust is seeking to set up a framework agreement for consultants to provide the following property valuations: — informal "desktop" valuations of properties to enable management to assess whether the property in question is within the criteria for disposal under the Trust's Asset Renewal Strategy (under which properties with relatively high repair/refurbishment costs are disposed of to release cash to support the development of new properties). These should include advice on the best means of disposal and whether any repairs or maintenance expenditure would assist in maximising value, — formal confirmatory valuations in writing in connection with the above disposals, satisfying the requirements of the Charities Act 1993 s.36 and the Charities (Qualified Surveyors' Reports) Regulations 1992 (SI1992/2980).
