NO-Oslo: concrete work
20HAV10 - Concrete renovation (quays). The contract's aim and extent. Oslo Havn KF shall first renovate 2 quays. One is the tank ship pier where approx. 220 m of throating shall be repaired and a frost free water filler shall be established out in the main duc d`albe. A hangingsystem for a new pipeline under the quay, approx. 120 will have to be assembled. Petrol (Ex-sone), among other things is loaded/unloaded at this quay. Therefore work cannot be carried out whilst a ship is at the quay. This occurs 2-4 times a week. It is important therefore that this quay is prioritised when it is available. The quay was constructed in 1970. The other quay is Ormsund quay. The beams shall be repaired on this quay after corrosion damage. Firstly by mechanical repairs, then the beams shall be cathodically protected. All the sides and bottoms of the beams make up an area of approx. 1 500 m², but it is not certain that cathodic protection shall be used on the whole of the construction. This will be decided when the reinforcing steel is exposed. The quay constructions were built in 1977 and 1980. An option is wanted for 2012. The next quay will most likely be Søndre Akershus quay.
